Accessibility

What is accessibility?

“Accessibility” is an IT term used to describe a device, a service or a resource that anyone can use without difficulty. It is commonly associated with opportunities for people who have sensory, motor or psychological limitations or disabilities (whether temporary or lasting) to use the IT systems and software resources that are available. The term has also been widely adopted – with the same meaning – for online matters.

Accessibility of the BPER Group’s website

We have designed and set up the BPER Group’s website to be easy to browse for any kind of user by whatever means they may have available. In developing the site we have kept strictly to the “WCAG” guidelines, and those drafted by the W3C (the web consortium founded by Tim Berners-Lee with the aim of specifying standard code and structuring access to information on websites).
