In August 2001, Banca di Sassari joined the Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna Banking Group. The Bank operates by combining traditional brokerage operations with consumer finance, offering products and services of its Consumer Division. Created in 2004, the Division covers the consumer credit and payment systems markets by offering innovative products distributed through multiple channels, mainly targeted to the BPER Group’s distribution network (personal loans with mandates and salary-backed loans, credit and debit cards, e-commerce, Money Transfer and special-purpose consumer credit).
